CAUTION: THIS ARTICLE IS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO BE THE BOSS, THOSE WHO WANT MORE OUT OF LIFE. IT’S NOT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY FOUND FULFILLMENT AS AN EMPLOYEE.
Have you ever noticed that a huge percentage of people on Facebook are self-employed? In as much as it baffles you, it intrigues me to know the reason behind such an illusive act. According to their status, they are the boss but in actual fact, they are employees, working a 9 – 4 job like an ant. Even more than an ant if you dig deeper into this discourse.
That is what I called living in delusion, an imaginary world that can easily be created if focused and determination is attained. But instead, they’d rather take the easy way out, to be self-employed on Facebook and a shitty employee in life; who has no control over what happens or what doesn’t.
This is definitely not the life you dream of. That is a nightmare and you seriously need to wake up NOW! If you’re not going to do this for yourself, please do it for your children and the unborn generation. Prove to them that chasing ones dream is worth every sacrifice.
According to a recent study, over 85% of employees hate their job. In the US, the stat is even more frightening. A whopping 94% of employees hate their job but they can’t quit. Why can’t they quit? You just took it outta my mouth. That was the very question I was asking myself when I read that chart. Why can’t they just quit and pursue the life of their dream?
Many will say, “I’ve got bills to pay. I have no choice.” Well, that’s BS if you ask me.
Let’s assume that you get a job around your twenties. Does that mean you have to constantly do what you hate till you retire, like around 65 years? That’s torture. I won’t even wish an enemy such a life. A life of hate, boredom, sadness, stress and torment. A life of daily struggle and pain. A LIFE OF DEPRESSION.
THE WAY OUT OF THIS NIGHTMARE
The way out of this dark rut isn’t to tender a resignation letter right away. Far from it. To escape this hideous monster that doesn’t want your happiness, you need a plan, a strategy and a will to let go. If you don’t have these, you might end up in a worse situation.
To become self-employed, that person you dream to become, follow the guide below.
1. START A SIDE HUSTLE
While being an employee, you can also start up a small business while retaining your job at the same time. It’s easy, depending on how planned the process is.
There are lots of businesses you can start as an employee. Discover them, then blend in. it will be stressful at first, but it’s for the best. Once the business have gained some momentum, tender a resignation letter to that ugly fat boss. It doesn’t happen overnight. You need to be patient and watch everything unfold.
2. YOUR NETWORK
As an employee, it’s only natural to have employees within your circle. It’s normal. Doctors hang around with fellow doctors, same with lawyers and other professions out there. But if you want to take the path of entrepreneurship, then you have to start making entrepreneurs your friend. Start from me, follow me on Facebook.
Your network determines how you end in life. Remember my regular motto, your network is your net worth. It’ actually your network that will give you a hint of when to focus fully on your side hustle and fire your boss.
3. A BOLD STEP
Transiting from being an employee to a self-employed isn’t a rosy experience. That is when you work 12 hours every day, so that you won’t work for 8 hours for an employer.
Take that bold step. Never look back. It will be the greatest decision you’ll ever make in life.
It’s easy to be self-employed on Facebook, but it’s more fun and adventurous when you’re self-employed life. When you start the journey of an entrepreneur, that is when life becomes so meaningful. Sometimes, you’ll feel like, you should have done this a long time ago.
